We loved the fact that this property is updated with a great coastal design, four bedrooms, and all the updated features offered in a custom build! We think Marathon is a great location because we are not too far from the mainland, but also close enough to Key West for an easy day trip! The grocery store, great restaurants, and everything else we need is so convenient, too!
This is a vacation rental and the guests have exclusive use of the entire attached Villa. We have a pin pad on the door and the code will be provided shortly before your arrival. There is covered parking and parking for a boat/watercraft trailer. The dock accommodates a 35'- 40' boat.
Meredith, the property manager, will be available day and evening, throughout your stay, for any questions, needs, or recommendations. You will be able to contact her directly on her cell.
Angler's at Sombrero is a brand new development on Sombrero Beach Road, just down the street from Sombrero Beach - a beautiful oceanfront beach! Sandy beaches are not common in the Keys, so it a real asset to have an oceanfront sandy beach just down the street! There is a sidewalk all along Sombrero Beach Road where you can bike, exercise, or walk to the beach! About two minutes from the grocery store (Publix and Winn Dixie), a minute from the beach, and less than 10 minutes from any of the amazing restaurants and activities in Marathon, the location is perfectly centrally located! Only an hour from Key West and about 20 minutes from Bahia Honda State Park, you can easily make day trips!
We recommend you have a car during your stay in the keys!
We provide TP, PT, hand, dish and bath soap, laundry pods, and dishwasher detergent that should be enough to last a week. We also provide all the bed linens, bath towels, and pool/beach towels.
Airbnb does not have the ability in their software to collect the Marathon County Tax of 5% so we have to send a separate payment request for those funds. They do collect the Florida State Tax of 7.5%.
It is mandatory that the guest manage their trash throughout their stay. Directions about pick-up days are in the manual at the property and in the Welcome Letter sent out before arrival.
We also ask that you clean the grill to the best of your ability before you leave. Do you not use charcoal in the grill as it is a gas grill.
If you would like the pool heated above 80 degrees, there is a $ 125 pool heat fee(prorated for longer stays).
$45 Management Fee is Damage Insurance covering up to 3k in damages.

Cancellation Policy: Ninety-seven percent (97.00%) of the total booking charges (less $100.00 taxable cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 60 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.Payments: We are happy to set up custom payment plans so that you can pay in two or three installments. Cancellation Policies: (1) We will refund your payment in full if you cancel at least 30 days prior to your arrival. There is no refund if you cancel within 30 days of your arrival. (2) Per the VRBO policy, the VRBO fee is not refunded if you call VRBO directly and cancel with them. If you cancel through us, the VRBO fee will be refunded. (3) If you cancel at any time, all credit card fees incurred by us for your booking will be taken out of your down payment. (4) We do not refund any payments due to storm or hurricane. About the Owner
Born and raised in Canada, Marc and Nathalie moved to the USA with their two young children in 1996. After a quick stay in Seattle, the family moved to south Florida in 1998 for Marc’s work and this became their new home. The family fell in love with the Florida Keys while vacationing and had a dream to own a home in Marathon. Marc loves fishing and golfing while Nathalie enjoys spending time at the beach or by the pool.
Now that the kids are grown up, we have decided to share our home with others so you can enjoy all of what the Florida Keys have to offer. Perfect weather, beaches, great food, golf, water activities, and fishing make the Florida Keys the perfect spot for the whole family.

Meredith is a Property Manager and owns Pineapple Properties of the Florida Keys. She is thrilled to represent the owners. Meredith is a fifth-generation native Floridian, Meredith's first visit to the Florida Keys was 35 years ago when she was 18 years old. She went sport fishing with the legendary Captain Skip Bradeen in Islamorada, explored the islands from Key Largo to Key West, and was hooked! Meredith, her husband Barry, a realtor, and their children enjoyed vacationing in the keys for many years and after raising their family in Winter Park, Florida, Barry and Meredith moved here full time! She loves helping guests with personal recommendations of all her favorite spots to help make their vacation better than they ever imagined!
