MARATHON ANGLER'S RETREAT in Marathon is a brand new property with every modern convenience and warm coastal decor! Located right on a canal (just 15-20 minutes from open water) it has its own private dock (can accommodate up to a 35' boat on a 32' dock), fish cleaning station, private pool, hot tub, and two single kayaks! There is a neighborhood beach just down the street and the grocery store is hardly a minute away! Located in the heart of Marathon, MM50, great restaurants and activities are within a 5-10 minute drive!
The Master Bedroom is located upstairs and has a king bed, flat-screen TV, an en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and water closet. Upstairs are two guest bedrooms that share a hall bath. One is a King with a flat-screen TV and the other has bunk beds with a trundle (twin/full/twin), a flat-screen TV, and an XBOX 360 with games! The guest room downstairs has a King bed, flat-screen TV, and its own bathroom. You'll enjoy a beautiful view down the canal from the second-floor balcony and the colors from the sunrises and sunsets!
In addition to the pool, hot tub, and kayaks, Marathon Angler's Retreat has plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, beach toys and umbrella, and board games (plus a tv in every bedroom and living room, XBOX360 and games)! Enjoy grilling (both charcoal and gas grills) on the covered patio downstairs! There is plenty of parking, too, for your boat trailer and cars (covered parking for two and a parking area on the side of the Villa that can accommodate additional cars and/or a boat trailer)!
The Villa is pet friendly (breed approval, 2 dogs) with a $75 deposit per dog (in addition to required damage insurance purchased at the time of booking.
The pool can be heated for a fee of $125 per week (prorated for longer stays).
Airbnb does not have the ability in their software to collect the Marathon County Tax of 5% so we have to send a separate payment request for those funds. They do collect the Florida State Tax of 7.5%.

Cancellation Policy: Ninety-seven percent (97.00%) of the total booking charges (less $100.00 taxable cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 60 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.

Meredith is a Property Manager and owns Pineapple Properties of the Florida Keys. She is thrilled to represent the owners. Meredith is a fifth-generation native Floridian, Meredith's first visit to the Florida Keys was 35 years ago when she was 18 years old. She went sport fishing with the legendary Captain Skip Bradeen in Islamorada, explored the islands from Key Largo to Key West, and was hooked! Meredith, her husband Barry, a realtor, and their children enjoyed vacationing in the keys for many years and after raising their family in Winter Park, Florida, Barry and Meredith moved here full time! She loves helping guests with personal recommendations of all her favorite spots to help make their vacation better than they ever imagined!
