Marathon Angler's Retreat Canal Front in Marathon: Custom Pool, Hot Tub, Your Own Boat Slip, Dogs Welcome

A canal front villa in the middle of Marathon with a big custom pool, a hot tub, and your own boat slip for the stay. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms, sleeps up to 10, and two dogs are welcome.

Inside

Three kings and a bunk room

Half of a duplex villa, built new, warm coastal decor, and a TV in every bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped down to the spices and the wine glasses, and there is a laptop friendly workspace if work follows somebody down here.

• Master, upstairs  King bed, en suite with a walk in shower, two sinks and a separate water closet
• Guest bedroom 1, upstairs  King bed, sharing the hall bath
• Guest bedroom 2, upstairs  Bunk bed, a twin over a full with a twin trundle underneath, plus an Xbox 360 and games
• Guest bedroom 3, first floor  King bed with its own bathroom, which also opens to the kitchen
• Living room  Sleeper sofa

Bed linens, bath towels and beach towels are all provided. For the little ones there is a pack and play, a high chair and a baby gate. For everybody else, board games and a washer and dryer. The wifi runs over 500 Mbps.

Outside

Pool, hot tub, and the canal behind the house

• Private pool  Large and custom built, fenced, landscaped for privacy, and it can be heated for a fee
• Hot tub  Right beside the pool
• Your own boat slip  Up to 30 feet. It is one of two on a 60 foot dock, so the neighboring home ties up alongside
• Two kayaks  Straight off the dock and into the canal
• For the fishing  Fish cleaning station, and 15 to 20 minutes down the canal to open water
• Balcony  Second floor, looking down the canal, good for the sunrise and the sunset both
• Two grills  Gas and charcoal, on the covered patio downstairs
• Beach kit  Chairs, an umbrella and beach toys
• Parking  Covered for two cars, two more spaces beside the villa, and room for a boat trailer

The yard is fenced and belongs to this side of the villa.

Location

Angler's at Sombrero, Marathon

Sombrero Beach Road at mile marker 50, which is about as central as Marathon gets. The grocery store is barely a minute away in one direction and the neighborhood beach is down the street in the other, oceanfront and sandy, which is a rare thing in the Keys. The road has a sidewalk the whole way down to it.
